Ayb Educational Foundation – Ayb High School (AHS)

TITLE:  Assistant to school content development manager

START DATE/ TIME:  ASAP

TERM:  Full time

DURATION:  September 1, 2011, with 3 months probation period. The incumbent may become the head of the curriculum department or the deputy director of AHS, depending on the performance, obtained skills and personal qualities.

LOCATION:  Yerevan, Armenia

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-    Develop the curriculum of AHS, under close supervision of the school content development manager and in cooperation with the subject groups;
-    Take part in the development of the AHS methodology and teaching content corresponding to national and international educational standards;
-    Perform the full range of teaching staff management responsibilities in order to achieve the AHS goals and meet objectives;
-    Administer and supervise the recruitment of teaching staff;
-    Be involved in student admissions;
-    Negotiate with international publishing houses to obtain translation and publishing rights for the textbooks;
-    Follow and supervise the work of textbook translators and editors;
-    Perform a variety of administrative tasks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-    University degree in Educational Management or experience in the field of educational management; the experience abroad is a plus;
-    Strong management skills;
-    Ability to motivate and work effectively with diverse subordinates;
-    Awareness of the national educational system;
-    Reporting and business writing skills;
-    Excellent communication skills, team player;
-    Ability to work in a cross-functional team;
-    Ability to work with large amounts of information;
-    Responsible and result-oriented;
-    Initiative, active, flexible and efficient personality;
-    Advanced computer skills; experience in working with MS Office;
-    Fluency in Armenian and English languages, working knowledge of Russian.

TITLE:  Fundraiser

START DATE/ TIME:  ASAP

TERM:  Full time

DURATION:  Long term, with 3 months probation period.

LOCATION:  Yerevan, Armenia

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-    Develop the fundraising proposal and action plan of AHS, in close supervision of the Project Manager;
-    Coordinate the implementation of the above mentioned;
-    Organize fundraising events in Armenia and abroad;
-    Develop fundraising products to be proposed to potential donors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-    Experience in working with corporate and individual donors;
-    Proposal writing skills;
-    Reporting and business writing skills;
-    Excellent communication skills, team player;
-    Capability to use social networks as a fundraising tool;
-    Ability to work in a cross-functional team;
-    Ability to work with large amounts of information;
-    Responsible and result-oriented;
-    Creative, initiative, active, flexible and efficient personality;
-    Advanced computer skills;;
-    Fluency in Armenian and English languages, both oral and written. Knowledge of Russian is highly appreciated.
